From the Front Porch

How are you guys holding up this week? Are you reaching your goals? Celebrating being awesome? Taking time to breathe out the crazy?

I’ve had the privilege to work with a lot of smart, strong and talented ladies these past few weeks. As you know, most days I work from home so it feels really special to be surrounded by women that work extra hard to make each day amazing for their families, classrooms, patients, creatives and communities. This week I’ve been inspired by nature, blush, classy ladies and little luxuries. Here are a few things I’m loving from around the web…(This post contains affiliate links which have been provided for your convenience. You can read our full disclosure policy here.)

If you love a neutral color palette as much as I do, you’re going to go crazy over this home tour. It has me looking for extra ways to add architectural interest to every.single.room.

Speaking of home tours, have you guys seen this fall home tour yet? Every photo is stunning and don’t even get me started on that exposed brick wall…gorgeous.

If you’ve ever wanted a cabin in the woods, be sure to check out this fall home tour. Can you imagine being able to have dinner on that porch every evening?

It’s been 12 years since Grace Bonney of Design Sponge changed the blog world forever. I can’t wait to read her new bestselling book which is a celebration of fellow makers, artists and entrepreneurs.

I’m in the middle of planning a milestone birthday. I know. It’s hard to even think about but my bestie S said it’s a “must do” and my mom said “you really need to be making this a priority, CoCo.” So, I may or may not be wearing this dress

these shoes

these inexpensive earrings

and carrying this clutch to my big birthday dinner.

Of course, serving this rose’ treat is a non-negotiable! That’s what I thought too, crazy right?

While we’re menu planning, I’ll take these too. I’ll work on the cake, flowers, and everything else another time…small steps, Mom!

Scroll all the way down to see the video of why it would be so much fun to have these two at the party. Trust me, it’s worth it.

How much fun would it be to have these two at your birthday dinner! They get me every time!

In case you missed anything on the blog lately, here’s a look at what we’ve been up to…

ha ha I don’t think my friends or family could handle me being the “lady in red” for my birthday, Mary Beth! They may immediately be thinking “here comes trouble!” Big hugs, CoCo
