From the Front Porch

Happy Friday, you guys! How has your week been? Are you celebrating Valentine’s Day early this weekend or are you waiting until Tuesday the 14th? We’re currently out of town celebrating another milestone birthday. I know! It feels like we’ve been celebrating birthdays for 2 months now and we kind of have. We’ll be traveling with 3 dogs which is always fun (wink, wink). Most of the time, they’re really good.

Scenes from my week….

Conquering (I think) a fear of heights with my sister, LiLi, at the lighthouse. As you can see, I handled it like a champ. More on that adventure next week. * The cold that I just can’t seem to shake * I’ve just started reading this book and it’s really good so far * #epicpaintfail #nootherwordsneeded

Here are a few fun things I found around the web this week… ((Affiliate links have been provided for your convenience. You can read our full disclosure policy here)

This vintage cottage is ready for Valentine’s Day and it’s so charming.

I’m not usually into stamps but I can’t wait to get these.

Move over Fiddle Leaf Figs, there’s a new “it” tree in town.

I love this tv show and now I love this actress even more. This post is a great example of believing in yourself even times get tough.

I love journals and I know a lot of you do to. I haven’t tried this one but I hear it’s really good. Have you?)

These would be so much fun to make for your gal pals. Seriously so stinkin cute!

This dress would be pretty to wear to a Valentine’s Day dinner.

If you want something a little more casual, consider this.

Since we’re talking all things blush I can’t wait to order this and these too.

If blush isn’t really your thing, don’t sweat it, this is probably all you really need any way.

If you’ve missed anything on the blog this week, here’s a look at what we’ve been up to…

I hope you all have a peace filled and relaxing weekend. We have a great week coming up next week as we celebrate love, friendship, goal setting and a Kon Mari decluttering gut check you don’t want to miss. Until then, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest over the weekend and back here on Monday.

Many blessings,

I loved the Magnolia story! The blush jacket is so pretty and I love that show This Is Us too. These Friday posts are the best. It makes me realize you’re one of us.
