From the Front Porch

Happy Friday from the front porch you guys! How has your week been? I hope you’ve been able to get a lot accomplished!

Well as I mentioned last week, I felt all over the map but in a good way with my bananas schedule. So, this week, I was all, “You can’t create more time but you can be more intentional with your time, CoCo,” and you guys, it really helped to make that simple mindset shift!

Sometimes it just feels good to take back your schedule and feel confident you actually have a choice…a say…a best yes!

I’m not telling you it’s always easy or that life stuff doesn’t happen to knock us off our game for a hot minute. But at least if we have a plan or a goal in mind, we can get back on track a lot easier than when we’re trying to fly by the seat of our pants.

I have a quick client shopping trip to handle this morning and then we’re headed back to the pecan grove to check on things. The rest of the month is pretty slammed with events so I want to make sure I’m as proactive as possible.

We live too far out of town to really have any trick or treaters but I know a lot of you have kids so I thought you may need some last-minute Halloween ideas. Enjoy!

Scenes from my week…

* It’s so exciting to finally see a lot of pumpkins in the grocery store.

* Speaking of grocery store, can we just talk about the price of Halloween candy? Wowza! How does that even happen!

* I can’t wait to unwrap these beauties.

* We’re a long way away from finishing the horse farm project but honestly, there’s not a minute to waste. Here’s a peek at what we’re planning for the dining room table.

* Caramel apples…they get me every time.

  1. Hey CoCo – as you well know – our schedules are off the rails…can’t even talk about it. The sweet pup costume makes us miss our sweet Starbuck. And we just know that you have shipped us matching bee journals LOL. Hope your week is off to a fab start!

    1. Didn’t you love those bee journals with the zipper and everything! I wish they had a goat for me then we could have been journal triplets! Sending you both hugs for a happy week, CoCo
