From the Front Porch

Happy Thursday from the front porch, you guys! How has your week been? I hope it’s been super productive and you’re tackling your February goals like a boss.

Has this week flown by for you guys? Oh my gosh, us too! I seriously don’t know if we took on more than usual this week now that the year is getting into full swing or if we managed our time differently. Either way, I’m thankful for a calendar that helps to keep us on track and a tending list to remind us what goals we want to nurture this month. Without them, we would have been all over the place this week.

Are you guys looking forward to Valentine’s Day? It’s kind of weird being in the middle of the week but I think there’s something about it being on a Wednesday that makes it more intentional, you know? Plus, if you’re planning on going out of town – hello, long relaxing weekend, amiright?

Speaking of going out of town, I’ve spent most of the week painting furniture and a few other key pieces to take to Loblolly Manor.

Here’s a peek at scenes from our week…

* Sneak peek at Monday’s post.

* Remember that wood pedestal that had too much yellow on it for my mom? I fixed and she loves it now!

* Spotted at Hobby Lobby on sale – seriously how cute it this bicycle basket!

* This hutch got a makeover in French Linen and it’s going to be so pretty styled with white ironstone in the dining room.

* I just finished this book and it was so good!

I hope you have a peace filled and happy weekend. We have a great week coming up next week as we team up with the fabulous ladies of the Back to Basics series on Monday, share another room makeover from the horse farm project on Tuesday and I’ll have another installment from the series, “When Love Shows Up” for you on Valentine’s Day. As always, we’ll be back here on Thursday with scenes from our week and all of our favorite things from around the web.

It promises to be a busy rest of the work week with a full work weekend on tap for half of Team Crowned Goat as we begin to make a few changes to some of the rooms at Loblolly Manor. I’m really excited to help my parents transition their part-time home into a retreat space they can relax and feel creative in. We’ll also be attending a “cancer-free celebration” which will be fun and fingers crossed we’ll make it to the auction! My mom has never been to one, so, I’d love to be able to carve out some special time to enjoy that experience with her.

Just writing out that list makes me feel like things are going to be a bit bananas – I hope there’s pie!

Whatever you have planned for this weekend, I hope it’s something you’re excited about. I can’t wait to see you back here on Monday. Until next time, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.

Many blessings,

CoCo
