From the Front Porch

You guys, can you believe it’s already the middle of September? I can’t even wrap my head around that idea. How has your week been? Are you feeling empowered…productive…joy filled? It’s been a fun week for us. We’ve celebrated a birthday, all of the elements to finish the kitchen have arrived, I started painting a few pieces of furniture and later tonight we’ll be headed to see the new Bridget Jones movie.

Have you guys seen all of the fall home tours this week? They are so gorgeous! Here’s a look at what I’m loving around the web this week… (Affiliate links added for your convenience. Please see our full disclosure here )

I love the way Becky of The Other Side of Neutral blog added pumpkins to each of her steps. If you haven’t see her Harvest Haven Fall Tour you have to check it out.

Nina Hendrick had one of my favorite homes on the Eclectically Fall Home Tour. The sunflowers…the apples…her kitchen…swoon.

Love, love, love this Coco Jones quote and the fact this poster is actually downloadable. Count me in!

I have yet to see a real life pumpkin in the store or at the farmer’s market yet. The stem on this pumpkin makes faux pumpkins a great alternative until the real ones arrive.

These knitted pumpkins are cute too. Hello, cabin fever.

This farmhouse inspired table runner is the perfect way to dress up your table all season long.

This scarf would make a gorgeous table runner too.

I know it’s been a few weeks since school started. Are you guys finally getting into the cleaning routine again? I seriously need to try this idea How to Clean All of Your Bathrooms in 15 Minutes from the blog Clean Mama.

I made a quesadilla for the first time a few days ago. I know, so exciting! Here are a few other 30 Minute Meal Recipes. I’m going to try as soon as I work up the nerve…and my skills around the stove ahem.

This week was a mix of fall inspiration and easy diy projects. Here’s what you might have missed…

Until then, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
