From the Front Porch

What a difference a week makes! How is everything going for you guys? Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? We’re going to spend the next few days cleaning up the remainder of the debris from Hurricane Matthew and then hopefully taking a little time to rest. I’m definitely looking forward to a bit of downtime and I know you’re probably ready for a break too.

I can’t believe we’re already at the middle of the month. It totally blows my mind Halloween is just a few weeks away. Do you guys have your costumes ready yet? We live too far out to get any trick-or-treaters but it’s always fun to watch the littles dress up and get excited about all the candy. If you’re in the middle of party planning or looking for fabulous pumpkin carving ideas, here are a few things I found from around the web this week to inspire you… (Affiliate links have been provided for your convenience. They will be dealing the effects of this storm for months to come so your thoughts, prayers, time, resources and donations are greatly appreciated.

We have a great week coming up next week. I’ll share how to set up a gourmet s’mores bar, outdoor fall tablescape ideas, how to personalize and stencil a burlap pillow cover and how to make a pumpkin spice latte inspired sugar scrub! Until then, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
