About Us

The Crowned Goat began from a longing in my spirit to live out my dreams. I would wake up on the weekends while the house was still and silent and pour over blogs I found inspiring. Each weekend, they would refresh my creativity and provide a positive outlet for my DIY projects. On December 31, I decided I would wake up on January 1 and begin writing a new post each week as proof to myself that I could step out of my comfort zone. Through a series of events I can only explain as divine intervention I had the opportunity to begin selling my upcycled, vintage and handmade goods at Out There Antiques in St. Augustine, Florida this May. While I have other dreams of a brick and mortar store, The Crowned Goat’s headquarters connected to our current property (see the brown roof on the home page picture) and a pasture full of goats, I’m blessed to be living every day working to make these dreams a reality.

I live on the coast but my heart is on the farm.

I’m constantly in touch with my family and would be lost without my sisters.

This is the first image I see when I wake up in the morning and the last image I see each night.

I do not know how to cook but this lady makes me think I will actually be able to learn.

These three have my heart and make me want to be a better person each day.  Aunt CoCo loves you!!

Thank you to my Mom who provided countless inspiration and encouragement to take the first step. She led by example every time we moved to a new town with my military dad. With each new place be it a rental property or quansit hut she managed to make every house feel like a home. She mixed new finds with cherished family favorites all while respecting our family budget. It's with this in mind I bring you The Crowned Goat website. A place to find courage, inspiration, and comfort no matter your budget or the direction life has taken you.

Thank you for visiting. I’m glad you’re here. Please feel free to stay in touch. I would love to hear from you.

Many blessings,

CoCo
