With 2015 in full swing, I’m in total goal setting mode. You may have noticed the new look of the logo and website. S, my bestie that runs this site has been instrumental in making all of these new changes happen. It’s been a lot of late nights but I’m really proud of the hard work that’s been accomplished. In addition to the new website changes after a lot of prayer, consideration and email requests I’ve decided to start blogging Monday through Friday. You guys are the best and I really appreciate all of the support you’ve given me through this journey of business and blogging.
Have you guys set 2015 Home Goals yet? I’m so excited about the progress we made on our 2014 Home Goals List and I’m excited about our Home Goals List for 2015 as well. The first project we tackled in January 2014 was the entry. Here is a shot of the before:
and this is a shot of the entry after
Crazy awesome, right? Yeah for being able to have your mail drop in one place and not all over your kitchen’s conversation bar. Double yeah that I’ve stopped putting the camera on the back lighting setting!
In 2014 we were also able to finish the dining room, kitchen table area, laundry room, give the existing office a mini makeover, convert an extra bedroom into an office, give another bedroom a shabby chic inspired makeover, and break the front porch area into zones which has helped our enjoyment of that space tremendously. The pantry, linen closets and master bathroom cabinets had an organizational makeovers and it’s really helped to keep these areas tidy.
In 2015 we’re hoping to update the back patio area,
finish the updates on the kitchen,
add decorative touches to the living room area (I’m going to be so sad to see all of the holiday decorations go),
bring style changes to two of the bedrooms,
and finally give this closet an organizational makeover. Wowza, how old is that stereo! I have a few other ideas kicking around in my head but I’ll wait a bit to share those.
It seems almost overwhelming when I see the list in print but I’m up for the challenge. Thankfully some of the projects were started at the end of 2014 so 2015 will find us adding the final touches to make it all pop.
What 2015 Home Goals are you guys working on? See you back here tomorrow for the full post on building the farmhouse style table you saw on the back patio!
