I made my way around the junk circuit yesterday with my Mom and Aunt Gale. They spent the day laughing at each other, telling stories and calling their other sister my Aunt Myra on the phone to discuss various purchases. It was a really great day.
Hearing their laughter made me appreciate the time I got to spend with them and it made me wonder how many little moments like that I had missed with the busyness of life. Have you ever had one of those weeks where you’re crazy busy but you don’t have a clue what you actually got accomplished? That’s been me all week! To help get me back on track I’m dedicating this Feel Good Friday to the moments we sometimes miss… like the wildflowers in the yard that only bloom in the fall,
the way the sky looks before an eclipse,
a reminder to keep going when you feel like giving up after a frustrating day,
a day spent decorating just for you,
and small but significant gifts of love.
Many blessings for a restful weekend,
