A few weeks ago I hosted a birthday party and the guest of honor asked me to make a white cake with triple berry filling and cream cheese frosting. The process of baking this cake was a little involved but it delicious and worth every step.

One of the first pieces of painted furniture I ever transformed and sold came from one of my aunts. She found this table while out treasure hunting for me one day. It’s painted in one of my favorite colors by Valspar and is a beautiful shade of turquoise blue.
When I spotted this workbench it was weathered, beat up and covered with bits of garden inventory. I had no idea what size it was or how much it even cost. But I knew it would make a great potting station and was inspired by the many worn signs I’ve seen lately created from reclaimed wood that read Herboriste.

I really liked the style and the wood grain so I decided to add a light wash in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Country Grey.
A few weeks ago I took the very last piece of furniture I had on hand to my booth at The Pickers Market. My Mom and sister helped me find this buffet one Saturday afternoon. Since the color palate in my booth mainly consists of pale blues, greens, whites and greys, I decide to use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint French Linen on this piece.
