Goodbye February, Hello March

Can you guys believe we’re almost into March? You know what that means, Spring is on the way! It’s been amazing weather in Florida over the past few weeks. We’ve spent more time outdoors during the day and snuggling up to watch a movies at night. It feels like the best of both worlds. I have definitely been in full winter nesting mode this month.

February found me organizing the desk in the kitchen, sharing how we created a dog feeding station in the pantry and celebrating a few things I picked up recently for the kitchen refresh.

I’ve been obsessed with all things citrus this month. I spent the afternoon learning to make soy candles with my sisters and enjoying the sweet scents of my ten favorite citrus simmer pot recipes.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day with 14 gift ideas that you can celebrate all year long and sweet treats you can bake any day of the week. A book I’ve been loving this month is The Year of Cozy. It totally makes me want to curl up and spend the rest of the weekend dog earring my favorite pages.

You guys were so sweet about the evolution of the breakfast area post. Those first few pictures were totally scary. Thank goodness my style has changed ha ha. I’m still in love with the neutral fabric I picked up a few weeks ago. I wore the scarf option last weekend and the neutral table runner option is currently being highlighted in the breakfast area. We simplified and updated the indoor coffee station this month. It’s something I look forward to every morning.

Everything is going well at my booth at The Pickers Market. I shared my latest finds from the treasure trail. The picture of the collection of ironstone was a big hit. It was my favorite too!

It was nice to be able to share a few pieces of painted pieces of furniture with you this month. The Pure White painted dresser is in my booth and the French Linen painted nightstand has been a good storage option for the bedroom. I know a lot of you will understand when I say, I feel like the best version of myself when I’m being creative, because I know you feel the same way too.

March is going to be fantastic. I’m currently working to refresh the laundry room. I feel like it’s taking forever to prep the floor for painting. I finally found a light that I love love love after searching for a few weeks so things are coming together. I’ve also been working to upholster the two chairs that were in the entry since we’re going to give that space a bit of a makeover too. My organizing goal for March is to get busy sorting through all of the magazines I’ve been collecting. The baskets are overflowing. It’s totally embarrassing.

I hope you guys all have a rest filled and relaxing weekend. See you on Facebook, on Instagram on Pinterest and back here on Monday for the Something to Talk About Link Party!

Many blessings,

CoCo
