Autumn Apples Inspired Home Tour

I’m in the midst of changing out all of the apple décor for Thanksgiving inspired décor complete with Indian corn and pumpkins. The past few days, we’ve enjoyed cooler weather and I’m stopping for a pumpkin spice lattes every time I ride to town. Before, I start sharing late fall inspiration, I wanted to post one last look of how we’ve been celebrating fall this year with an Autumn Apple Inspired Home Tour.

The Front Porch  is definitely one of my favorite places to be this season. Giving that space a total refresh gave my spirit a refresh too. I seriously heart mums, have I told you guys that lately?

The entry was really easy to put together, thanks to pillows from IKEA and a little nod to my Native American grandmother. I heart brown and white transfereware too.

I love the plaid blanket I used in the dining room so much I’ve been on the look out for another one for months. I bought a trophy platter the other day that I’ll show you soon. It’s for Most Improved 😀

I bake in the kitchen but I don’t really cook in there very much so I’ve been instructed to leave it like “a minimalist would appreciate it.” Thankfully, the copper molds fit the bill. They used to hang in the kitchen at Loblolly Manor.

We use this breakfast table area all of the time. The denim napkins were made from a pair of jeans and the table runner I bought at a local thrift store.

This vintage inspired apple picking sign was another favorite from this season. It took longer than I expected to make it but it was totally worth it. I love the simple style of the mantel this year.

It hasn’t all been work around here though there’s been plenty of time for snuggling.

I’ve really enjoyed the honeycrisp apples but I’m just as excited for pumpkin season to begin!

See you guys back here tomorrow. We’re using the last of the honeycrisp apples to give oatmeal cookies a sweet surprise.

Many blessings,

CoCo

  1. I’m just in love with everything you do! Just gorgeous.

Do you know that we are just now getting Honeycrisp Apples for the year? I bought them for the first time this week. Also, it was 90 degrees here yesterday so I’m a little jealous of your preparations for Thanksgiving. I’m still a little scared my pumpkins are going to melt on the porch!

    1. Stacey, thank you so much for your kind words. It’s a little cooler in Florida but not as much as I would like it to be. I’m totally with you, I’m scared to put pumpkins on the front porch too. We might have to search for the perfect “funkin” 🙂 Hope your day is a happy one, CoCo
