Booth Update: Seasonal Changes
Happy Labor Day! I hope you guys are enjoying a long relaxing weekend. You lost me at the word relax! Ha ha! I’m here all night guys! But seriously, I went to my booth at The Pickers Market last week to restock and freshen up the space a bit. The last time I was there it looked like I was moving out. See that dresser with the 5 drawers painted in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint? It sold 2 days after I moved it in the space so you can imagine how empty my booth was looking.
I’ve been staying up late and working overtime to paint new pieces and shop for smalls.
Labor Day marks the unofficial end to summer and allows for a few months rest from a busy tourist season. It’s not cold enough in Florida yet to break out the fall home décor.
However, there is a definite change in the air as the vacations are over, the kids are back in school and the people with second homes trickle into town to enjoy a slower pace and milder climate.
Even though I keep out a section of coastal items, I start transitioning my turquoise for green and bright white for off white.
This will make the introduction of warm woods and shades of pumpkin seamless.
Have you started making the transition from summer to fall in your home décor yet?
Many blessings,
CoCo
Love how you are transitioning the seasons & your booth looks beautiful. I want to come shop!! Bwg ~~~
Thank you Bobbi! I hope you’re having a great time visiting the Keys!
Coco…your booth is amazing. I wish I were able to shop right now! Enjoy your well deserved day off!
Thank you Vicki! I need to be up there helping you shop. We could work on your booth and shop our way to my booth!
Your booth looks great! How do you not want to keep everything?! 🙂
Hugs!
Angie
Angie, that is the hardest part of the job! I do keep a little stash of things until I’m ready to let them go, some things never make it to the booth though 🙂
Coco, Wow I don’t know how you do it all. You are so talented. Love all the furniture and fun things in your booth. Have a great day, Lisa
Thank you bunches, Lisa. As you know when you’re in a business like this it’s pretty much non stop but I love it so much I wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂
I see so many goodies that would look good in my home. Beautiful space my friend.
Thank you Renee! The hunt is my favorite part of this job!
I really love that grey china hutch.
Thanks lady Lili!
