Team Crowned Goat Takes Universal Studios
It’s not often Team Crowned Goat takes a break. The weekends are filled with scouring barns, warehouses, secret shopping sites and estate sales. The weekdays are filled with tagging inventory, painting, hauling furniture, restocking the booth, writing blog posts and working with other small business owners. While it’s a lot of work, it’s so much fun sometimes I forget that we need a break to do something totally unrelated to business of The Crowned Goat.
We traveled down to Orlando to visit Universal Studios for one reason…Harry Potter. It’s so weird to even write that but it’s true. We went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and to visit the newest attraction Hogsmeade on a random, unplanned Friday. I am secretly giving myself a high five for being flexible. No one would ever find my picture next to “spontaneous” in the dictionary, trust me.
It was somewhere in the midst of wands and cloaked kids wearing glasses, I realized the artistry of this theme park. I cannot even fathom the amount of time it must have taken to create this magical place. The attention to detail was astounding. Every bit just what you’d imagine it would be like something off of the movie set.
This is where we ate lunch and had the infamous Butter Beer. The craftsmanship is just crazy awesome.
We took the train from one Harry Potter theme park to the other.
This sign is probably pointing to my office.
We hit the sweet shop up for a candy bag to take home.
I’m pretty sure I could live in here.
We all brought home a little something extra.
This would be my little extra.
But most importantly we were inspired, relaxed and excited about what’s to come.
Many blessings,
CoCo

Universal has an entire theme park inspired by Dr. Seuss. Your kids will LOVE it Kelly!
I am so glad you got to experience the magic of Harry Potter at Universal! We went several years ago when it just opened and it was amazing then so I can only imagine how incredible it is now! Also the butter beer is so yummy and I figured out how to duplicate it at home! So delicious! Glad you got the break —well deserved. Hugs friend! Kim 🙂
Kim – ha ha I didn’t even think about trying to make butter beer at home! If anyone can pull that off I know it’s you! It was a fun trip and great to get away for a bit. Hugs right back at you!
