From the Front Porch

Happy Sunday from the cabin! Thanks so much for sharing your day with us.

We hope today finds you looking forward to all the good things November has to offer and completely recovered from the festivities of Halloween.

Scenes From Our Week…

I have to say this week has been pretty amazing for us. We’ve been at the cabin celebrating my bestie S’s one year return to health milestone after suffering a major fall last October.

Of course, it wasn’t without a few tears. I seem to have turned into a big softie lately. All jokes aside, they were definitely happy tears just thinking about the sheer amount of work and hard things we’ve been through this past year.

We’ve been hiking a lot, visited the coolest pumpkin patch, shopped our favorite treasure spots, enjoyed plenty of laughs, good food and rest at the cabin.

We also had the chance to closeout apple picking season which was a fun surprise. The leaves are changing colors and falling like snow here. So, every time we walk to the car or hike a path we get to crunch the leaves.

I know that might not seem like a big deal if you live in an area where red, yellow and orange leaves fall every Autumn season. But to this Florida girl, it was exciting.
