From the Front Porch
Happy Friday from the front porch! We hope your January has been filled with fun and adventure as we prepare to welcome the month of February.
As always, it goes by way too fast but we’re thankful for the time we’ve had to make extra special memories this month.
At the end of every month this year, we’re making a concerted effort to review 3 things…
- What worked well this month?
- How can I improve next month?
- Ways I celebrated reaching goals, making progress on establishing new habits/routines, and creating time for things that were important to me.
Sometimes the progess we’re making, especially in the beginning of a project or goal can feel so s-l-o-w, it can be hard to justify our efforts.
But I promise if you keep going, it’s going to be so worth it.
Whatever your goal was this month whether you’ve made a ton of progress on it or barely any at all, take the time to evaluate the things that helped you most and give yourself permission to let the things that didn’t work well for you go.
And make sure to write down your journey along the way! By June you’ll be amazed at how far you’ve come ?
