From the Front Porch

Happy Friday from the front porch, you guys.

I’ll be completely honest, this week has been kind of a roller coaster.  After riding the high of Easter weekend (my parents loved the egg hunt we put together for them), I fully expected to get back on track Monday and finish out the week strong.

What I got instead was a week filled with so many highs and lows the only way to adequately process it all is by making a list of roses and thorns, bathing in grace, and purposely doing the next right thing.

I’m hoping to take the weekend to regroup but I totally get why so many people (especially, fellow bloggers) are checking into hotels for a “weekend staycation” and a “think break” alone ?

I chose Patina Homes but since it doesn’t come out until late April but I’ve already started reading Home Stories and I love it!
