From the Front Porch
Happy Friday! How are you guys holding up this week? I know a lot of you are teachers (Thank you!) and have already gone back to school but this week the littles started back too which added a bit more excitement to your classroom. We’ve celebrated not only the first day of school this week but also a special birthday so it’s been a busy week for us.
Last week I was sitting on the porch talking over a few ideas with my bestie S. We were trying to get our holiday and end of the year goals together when I kept circling back to all of the fun things I found around the web that week. “This should be a series,” S said. “You’re always sharing all sorts of stuff with your sisters and friends especially when you love something. I swear you told me about the Wunderlist app so many times I’m telling my friends about it now.”
So it’s in that spirit we’re starting a new series on Fridays called, From the Front Porch, where I’ll share everything from favorite apps to latest finds. I’ll even be making a few appearances on video too.
Here are a few things I’m loving this week from around the web… Please know that some of the links in this post are affiliate links provided for your convenience. You can view my disclosure policy here.
This paper feather garland from 2 Bees in a Pod is a great way to transition from Summer to Fall.
Speaking of Fall…yes to these pillows please,
and to this plaid blanket too

We’re always looking for new breakfast ideas. I can’t wait to try these Tropical Paradise Overnight Oats next week.
These gorgeous Italian canning jars could make overnight oats looks sexy any day of the week.
We bought a storage shed that needs a major renovation. I call it “the tuna can.” This back yard storage building is my current inspiration for “the tuna can reno.”

Thank you again to all of the teachers and school staff that help to make each day count for so many kids across the country. You are appreciated. To the misty-eyed Moms who had to let go a little more this week…even when it was really tough…you are treasured.
I hope you guys all have a happy and relaxing weekend. We have such a fun week coming up next week. Until then I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
Many blessings,
CoCo
