From the Front Porch: Simple French Country DIY Ideas
Hello from the front porch, sweet friends, and welcome to the Simple French Country DIY Ideas Edition of this weekly series.
How has your week been?
Coming back from a long weekend, vacation, or holiday is always so much fun.
But it can also be a bit overwhelming.
So, over the years, I’ve learned to go back to the basics and practice these 8 daily wellness habits whenever things start to feel like they’re coming off the rails,
Eating well, staying hydrated, going for a walk, carving out time for journaling, practicing meditation, listening to motivating podcasts, scheduling quiet time, picking up the house, making lists and calendar reminders, connecting with others, and prioritizing sleep.
Once I’ve gotten into the rhythm of those 8 daily wellness habits again, I name what’s most important.
Then I prioritize 1-3 small daily tasks and start taking action.
Eventually, those small daily action steps start adding up and help me get back on track again.
I hope they help you too.

Aww, thanks so much for you concern on Jelly. We really appreciate it. She’s such a sweetie pie and when she’s mopey or doesn’t want to be held it worries us. A girls trip to the Beekman Farm would be so. much. fun. We would be screaming with excitement all the way up the drive! Hugs, CoCo
I loved your 8 tips for staying on track. I’ve noticed that by simply drinking water while on walks (very hot outside), I feel so much better afterwards. Focusing on these basics you’ve outlined can really make such a difference!
Hi 👋 CoCo -Why is self care so difficult? Taking a walk every day should be easy. Thanks for the inspiration and advice!
