From the Front Porch
Happy Friday from the front porch, you guys! How has your week been? Good, I hope! Do you have anything fun planned for the holiday weekend? I’ve been trying to get caught up given everything that happened last week and in a way, it’s been a blessing to be back to work and focused on getting ahead so we can enjoy the especially long weekend.
Don’t get me wrong, we’ve been giving ourselves lots of grace but we’ve also been taking extra time to refocus our priorities for the summer. Without a doubt, we need something fun to look forward to so I’m excited about the possibilities July will hold for us. I’m hoping we’ll be able to steal a bit of time to have Father’s Day redo with my dad this weekend, one of my sisters invited us to a new bbq place so that should be fun, we’re planning to spend some time at the beach nearly every day and of course, we’re excited about all the festivities related to the 4th of July and fireworks.
I couldn’t have made it through this week without all your messages and support. You guys have been so sweet to check on us and let us know you’re praying for us and thinking of us. It means so much and we appreciate each and every one of you!
Scenes from My Week:
*Reason #138447 I love living on the island. Two of the turtles Ted and Trixie that live on our property had another baby so Truman is finally a big brother. This one was a little too close to the lawn mower so we had to redirect it back home but we’re definitely keep our eyes peeled for more.
*I’m still unpacking a few goodies I picked up at IKEA with my mom.
*Our first peach of the season.
*I’ve read this magazine at least 4 times now! Love, Love, Love!
