I went to my booth at The Pickers Market last week to restock and freshen up the space a bit. The last time I was there it looked like I was moving out.
You guys, it’s hotter than a “peppa” patch in Florida! I try to start painting in the early morning hours but sometimes it takes longer than I expect and I wind up having to compete with the summer heat.
A few weeks ago I was asked by my friend Renee to participate in the Tour Through Blog Land series. She blogs over at The Refined Relic and we’ve become fast friends.
A little over a month ago, I was contacted by a Florida craftsman to review a handmade wooden herb bed. He thought it would make a great addition to my booth at The Picker’s Market. I saw a picture and agreed to give it a trial run.
Since we’re kicking off a new school year today, I thought it fitting to revisit a favorite post from last year. My sister LiLi and Moses guest posted for me while I was on vacation. They shared an easy afternoon pretzel snack that’s perfect for hungry littles.
I’ve had the serious itch to paint lately. I think I’ve had too much time away from my brushes. Or maybe it’s the “no lifting anything over 5 lbs” that makes me feel even more rebellious.
I feel like I say this about every project but truly this office makeover was a long time coming. It gave me a fit.
Do you guys ever underestimate how long a makeover will take? You take days to come up with an amazing idea. You draw it out on paper or maybe even a napkin.
I’ve mentioned on several occasions I was in the process of a home office makeover prior to leaving for the bloggers conference, Haven. I had great intentions. I was all fired up and on a mission.
