We’re sharing a pear spice simmer pot recipe today!

We’ve been traveling a good amount these past few months.

So, the days I’m working and creating from home always feel like the biggest gift.

One thing I try to be intentional about is making those days as cozy and as memorable as possible.

Pear Season Favorites-Pear Spice Simmer Pot-The Crowned Goat

We’ve created several different simmer pot recipes over the years.

But this is the first time we’ve created a pear spice simmer pot. 

It’s just as easy to put together as our other recipes and reminds me of pear season at the farm. 

Here’s a look at how you can create a pear spice simmer pot too…

Pear Spice Simmer Pot-The Crowned Goat

Pear Spice Simmer Pot Recipe:

  • 1-2 Pears (cut into slices)
  • 2-4 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1-2 tsps Cloves

Gifting Supplies:

  • Ginger, optional (a great add in if you like spicy scents)
  • Ball or Mason Jar, optional for gifting
  • Ribbon, optional for gifting
  • Tag, optional for gifting

Pear Spice Simmer Pot Jar Steps:

Gather your ingredients.

Then using caution and care as knife will be sharp cute pears into slices.

Simmer Pot Gifting Steps:

Make sure your ball jar is clean and has been properly sanitized.

Layer pieces of pear, cloves, cinnamon sticks in the jar.

Then add water to the jar stopping just short of the top of the rim.

Be careful not to overfill.

Screw the lid back onto the mason jar.

Shake well to make sure all of the ingredients have fully incorporated.

This recipe can be stored in the refrigerator for approximately three – five days.

As always, simmer pot ingredients should not be eaten or ingested.

If you’re giving this simmer pot in a jar as a gift, add a label and ribbon if desired.

Things to Keep In Mind When Creating Simmer Pots…

When you’re ready to use the simmer pot, simply empty the contents of your jar into a small pot.

Then using caution and care as stove, pot and ingredients will be hot, bring the contents a boil.

Once the contents are boiling turn the heat down to low.

As always, never leave a simmer pot unattended.

Make sure to check on the simmer pot and add water as needed.

Do not allow the water to dry out or the contents will burn.
