From the Front Porch

How’s it going for you guys this week? Are you feeling productive, empowered, tired? I’m feeling a little combination of all of those things because we’ve finally started on the kitchen. I’ve spent a good portion of my time sanding…with more sanding…and then sanding again. Thankfully, my dad is on board (such a blessing!) to help out with the cabinets and my bestie S is going to help with the kitchen island. I think it’s going to turn out really pretty.

We’re so close to Labor Day…I know…I swear it seems like the littles just started back to school yesterday. Are you hosting any parties?  This Diner en blanc seems like a fabulous idea.

If the beach is more your style, you could always host a clambake. Crazy, right? One pot!

Wait until you see this beach club + cabana tour. It looks like a dream.

If you’re looking for something even more low key, try taking an easy meal on the trails, wild flower field, banks of the river or lakeshore. Just make sure you bring this

and this

and this

And definitely bring these

If your all, “Slow your roll, CoCo, it’s 100 degrees outside and we don’t want to be hot!” Cool off with this beautiful Blue and White Living Room

while sipping on this as long as you’re of age

or this if you’re underage.

With all the gorgeous spaces we see on social media it can be really tough not to compare our spaces with others. Truly, comparison is the thief of joy and this post is a great reminder of what to do When Comparison is All Around
