Happy Thanksgiving
As you read this you might be snuggled up in bed still relaxing for a few more minutes before the hustle of the day begins.
Maybe you’ve been up for hours and the smell of your signature sweet potato or pecan pie is currently wafting through the air.
Perhaps you’re on the road with bleary-eyed littles racing to your next destination.
I’m probably somewhere in the middle still in my jammers prepping for tomorrow so I can catch a few minutes of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade before the festivities swing into high gear.
Undoubtedly, there is an interesting mix of turkey roasting, pies baking, lots and lots of coffee, and our sweet little rescue Piper running around the house as we prepare for the long holiday weekend.
I’ve been thinking about the importance of Thanksgiving over the past few days. It seems to be the one day, save for Christmas, we’re intentional about showering each other with grace, love, and appreciation.
The day we celebrate gathering around the table to share a meal with family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers bringing the gift that only we can bring…ourselves.
As you look around the room and revel in the traditions and laughter that are unique to your Thanksgiving, know that I’m counting each of you as a blessing.
We’ve been spending time up at the cabin with friends and family but I didn’t want the day to pass without letting you know I count it as an honor and a true privilege to spend time with you each week.
I hope your days of celebration are filled with more love than your heart can hold and everywhere you go you find joy, goodness, kindness, and peace in abundance.
You mean the world to me and I’m grateful to have you here.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with those that you love!!! We got to spend it together, our family of 5, which was great because last year, we were fearful that Joe had Covid and we isolated to protect my son and his wife so they would not get it if he did….So I packed up dinner and delivered it to their door step!!! We were happy that we did not have a repeat of last year!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
