We’ve dedicated the entire month to the time and preparation that goes into making Thanksgiving such an awesome event. Our family is currently tucked into Loblolly Manor for the first time in 26 years and it feels so nice to be able to kick off the holiday season at this home we’ve loved so much. I can’t believe it’s gone by so fast, here’s a look back at what made this month so special as we say, Goodbye November, Hello December…
Right about now we’re getting ready for a weekend full of family festivities. I know today’s post is a little different from what I usually bring you but I couldn’t let today go by without telling you how truly grateful I am for all of your love and support.
I can’t believe the last time I updated you guys on Loblolly Manor was over the summer. All of the bedrooms have been completed save for a replacement dresser and a few minor decorative details that still need to be worked out. Since we’ll be spending a lot of time there over the next few weeks, I thought I would show you the progress we’ve made in the kitchen.
It seems like a lot of people decorate for Christmas the weekend of Thanksgiving. We used to do that too. Given I’ll be spending Thanksgiving at Loblolly Manor this year, my goal is to have all of my Christmas decorations up and the house tidy so I’ll be ready to celebrate as soon as I walk through the front door.
