Lumberjack Party
I decided I was going to have a Lumberjack Party so that I could keep a continuous holiday spirit and celebrate into the New Year.
I decided I was going to have a Lumberjack Party so that I could keep a continuous holiday spirit and celebrate into the New Year.
As soon as November hits, I’m ready for cold weather. I’m ready to sit by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate after creating the perfect holiday concoction from my hot drink bar.
I didn’t want to give up on the idea of having my own set of moose plates and after searching Pinterest I found a way to design them using Sharpie permanent markers!
For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted a farmhouse style table. A table that was long enough to fit my entire family, which has now grown to 12.
I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of the painted furniture pieces I’ve painted in 2014. You won’t be surprised that most of them are white.
One of my favorite things to do in the wintertime while the fog is still thick over the island is to wake up early and light a fire in the fireplace. I turn on the lights of the Christmas tree and I make myself a strong cup of coffee.
. I finally found myself in the sewing aisle of a big box store quickly losing motivation to create. I settled on heat transfers and headed over to the kitchen section to grab 2 packs of flour sack towels.
My Granny used to make me one each year. They’re really bright and colorful. I wanted to find a way to these ornaments in a fresh way and decided to use them in a tablescape specifically created for the littles.
Well, after almost an entire year of working nonstop weekends included Team Crowned Goat headed to the cabin for a two-week break to rest, relax and reflect.
This Winter Wonderland Tablescape is inspired by my Mom because she makes every holiday amazing. I’m pretty sure I learned how to set the table before I could spell the word Christmas.
It’s because of my love for the outdoors that I try to decorate with natural elements whenever I can. I needed a way to jazz up the entry and I decided to make a few white ornaments for the tree.
Now imagine you’re having a good time laughing and talking it up until someone mentions how great it would be to “create a wreath as part of the holiday blog series.” No playing, I almost choked.
