I bake at least once a week and during the holidays sometimes it’s two or three times a week. So the other day, I was getting out my materials to make cookies.
After working several weeks straight without any real break, this Feel Good Friday finds me taking a much needed break. I’m giving myself a gift and taking the entire day off.
We finished finalizing our Thanksgiving plans last week. It’s still so hard to believe the holiday season is here. I honestly don’t know where this year has gone.

I hope you guys had a happy weekend. It was cold and rainy in “sunny” Florida. For most people that would be a major bummer, but it gave me the opportunity to get organized and I really appreciated the extra time. I was searching for fall inspiration when I came across this blog post from last year.
When we first started this series I was all but certain by the time we got to the front porch portion mine would be boarded up with hurricane shutters. While there has not yet been a need for said shutters, it has rained for three solid days.
