So let me just catch you up. I was already low on furniture for the booth when January started. Normally people aren’t buying a lot of furniture in January since most people have spent a good amount of money on Christmas presents. But this month the most awesome thing has happened.
I’ve only bought a few presents so far this year but I am excited about shopping and I hope you are too. Small Business Saturday is an annual event that’s near and dear to my heart. This year it will be held on Saturday, November 29th.
The Pickers Market hosts an annual Holiday Open House each year and this year it will be held on December 6th.
A few weeks ago, I was able to find two great pieces of furniture and a few smalls. I found this washstand I gave a makeover in pale green
I was on the phone with a dear friend the other day. We were talking about mean people and how many we’d noticed on the planet lately.
I made my way around the junk circuit yesterday with my Mom and Aunt Gale. They spent the day laughing at each other, telling stories and calling their other sister my Aunt Myra on the phone to discuss various purchases. It was a really great day.
It’s been so long since I wrote a post about my latest finds that I had to actually go back to see what I had picked up since the last time I wrote a post about it.
We traveled down to Orlando to Universal Studios for one reason…Harry Potter. It’s so weird to even write that but it’s true.
I went to my booth at The Pickers Market last week to restock and freshen up the space a bit. The last time I was there it looked like I was moving out.
A few weeks ago I was asked by my friend Renee to participate in the Tour Through Blog Land series. She blogs over at The Refined Relic and we’ve become fast friends.
On Friday while I was looking like this
What a weekend! I still can’t believe I went to Haven! A conference for bloggers! Me – in Atlanta – by myself!
