Welcome to the Something to Talk About Link Party #5! I hope you guys are staying warm and cozy.
Welcome to the Something to Talk About Link Party! I hope each of you had a Happy Valentine’s Day and your entire weekend was filled with lots of love.
Welcome to the Something to Talk About Link Party! I swear every week the posts that are linked up keep getting better and better. I’ve been excited to get to know new bloggers and I’m equally as excited that you guys are sending me sweet messages that you feel the same way.
This week has been the culmination of weeks worth of work. It’s been nonstop painting, cleaning, hauling, tagging and searching for inventory in some of the most cobwebbed infested places you’ve ever seen. It’s been carrot dogs for dinner and loads of laundry that are still waiting for me. Having a booth space is so much work and so much fun all at the same time.
After meeting a friend for lunch last Friday I had time to run into 3 stores to search for new inventory. You guys know I need several pieces of furniture but after only finding a handful of smalls lately I was getting a bit discouraged. I left empty handed in the first store. In the second I found 2 vintage suitcases and a few interesting treasures but still no furniture. Time was running out and I headed for the last store. The sale of the day was on furniture. The china hutch I found had been there for a while and with the sale it was within $5 of my budget.
Welcome back to week two of our Something to Talk About Link Party! The inspiration you shared last week blew me away and I’m so happy that you’re back again this week to share even more.

I swear it seems like just yesterday we were yelling “Happy New Year!” One of my favorite things about this month is that after spending extra time with family and friends over the holiday season, January holds a promise of both new adventures and of dreams yet to be realized. Goodbye January, it’s been fun. February, if you’re listening, I can’t wait to see what adventures you have in store for me!
The last time I went out shopping was the week before Christmas when I had to find a few extra Santa mugs. Luckily, I found exactly the amount I needed to make sure each guest had one to take home with them. On that same shopping trip I found
I hope you guys had a happy weekend. I was able to spend it celebrating with my family, which, always feels like the best gift.
So let me just catch you up. I was already low on furniture for the booth when January started. Normally people aren’t buying a lot of furniture in January since most people have spent a good amount of money on Christmas presents. But this month the most awesome thing has happened.
I’ve only bought a few presents so far this year but I am excited about shopping and I hope you are too. Small Business Saturday is an annual event that’s near and dear to my heart. This year it will be held on Saturday, November 29th.
