Easily Upgrade Your Bathroom with Affordable Organization Tips
We’re sharing how to easily upgrade your bathroom with affordable organization tips as we continue to “elevate” each day by making small changes with big impacts
There has been one spot in my bathroom that I haven’t been able to consistently figure out.
And that’s how to effectively organize and use the empty space under the vanity sinks.
It’s taken a bit of trial and error over the years, but I finally feel like I have a system in place that helps keep the bathroom tidy and offers extra countertop space as well.
Here’s a look at how to easily upgrade your bathroom with affordable organization tips.

Featured Bathroom Organization Supplies:
- Under the Sink Rack Organizer (I painted this one white)
- Label Holders (we have the brown)
- Black Washcloths (we have these but these are also highly rated)
- Wall Mounted Makeup Mirror (we have in the nickel)
- Refillable Bottles (I wish this French script set had been available when I bought mine)
Adding Budget-Friendly Shelves Under the Sink
One of the smallest changes that made the biggest impact was adding budget-friendly shelves and baskets to the cabinet under the sink.

In the past, the cabinet was mostly filled with empty space save for a few small baskets and pouches.
That basic system worked well until I started using additional skincare and beauty products, and the pouches were no longer big enough to fit everything.

So, I found a shelving system that worked around the sink pipes, painted it white, added water hyacinth baskets I found at Five Below, printed labels from home, and tucked them inside badge holders I found on Amazon.

Now, I have room to keep everything organized from my morning and evening skincare routines to toothpaste, brush heads, and whitening trays to a space that holds my Caboodle filled with makeup.

Adding a Wall-Mounted Budget-Friendly Makeup Mirror
While I have a large mirror in the bathroom, I’ve always wanted a wall-mounted lighted makeup mirror.
This lighted makeup mirror is great because it has an extendible arm that swings out.
It also has three different color lights (white, natural, and warm light).

The light brightness can easily be adjusted to your desired level with smart touch control, which is nice too.
Plus, I love that it gives a hotel vibe while I’m getting ready, and it doesn’t take up valuable counterspace.

Black Washcloths for Makeup
I didn’t think I needed black washcloths until I realized how many white ones I had added to the rag pile.
These black washcloths have been a budget-friendly upgrade because I no longer worry about getting makeup stains on them.
Tucking Towels in Baskets
As someone who doesn’t like a lot of visual clutter, tucking towels into baskets under the sink was an obvious choice.
Not only are they easy to grab, but they’re also easy to wash and put away.
I simply take the basket from the bathroom to the laundry room, fill it up with clean towels, and place it back under the sink!

Clearing Off the Countertops
While I’m thankful to have a double vanity, there’s not a lot of counter space given the sinks take up most of the vanity.
That said, clearing everything off the countertop, save for essentials helped visually expand the space.

Adding a Vanity Tray Organizer Over the Sink
Another budget-friendly upgrade and space saver is the easy DIY vanity tray organizer I recently created.
Of course, you can always buy makeup mats to go over the sink.

But I wanted something a little more substantial.
My Mom found this tray for me while she was out treasure hunting, and it worked out perfectly.

Plus, it’s easy to store on the side of the vanity.
And bonus, you can use it as a bed tray too.

Refillable Dispensers
Finally, if you like to try different shower products, consider refillable dispensers.
While I love using seasonal shower products, the visual clutter of different bottles and labels took away from the spa-like experience I wanted in the bathroom.
I finally switched over to these refillable dispensers, and it was another small budget-friendly organizational change that made a big difference.
The shower and bath feel calm now.

Easy Bathroom Upgrades: Affordable Organization Tips to Keep In Mind…
When it comes to learning how to easily upgrade your bathroom with affordable organization tips, one of the most important things you can do is to be aware of how you’re actually using the space.
I know that sounds obvious and simple.
But, like me, you might not even realize you need more countertop space until you start wearing makeup every day.
Or maybe you’re short on time and need clear bins instead of baskets because you want to be able to find products quickly and easily.
Maybe you don’t need bins at all.
You simply need to go through your makeup and skincare products to see what has expired and should be tossed.
Organization is never a one size fits all kind of thing.
It’s not a one and done kind of thing either.
It changes as your season of life changes.
So, don’t be afraid to easily upgrade your bathroom with affordable organization tips until you’ve tweaked and adjusted things in a way that works best for you.
