Easy Pumpkin Spice Latte Sugar Scrub
Today, we’re sharing our favorite recipe for an Easy Pumpkin Spice Latte Sugar Scrub!
It’s hard to believe we’re getting ready to kick off the holiday season. This year has flown by quicker than I could have ever imagined!
Holiday Planning and Preparation…
We’ve been trying to nail down our plans for all the events leading up to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year I’m sure many of you have as well.
I don’t know about you but the “priorities list” seems to be growing longer each day and the amount of time to get everything done seems to be getting shorter.
No matter what we having currently on the schedule or coming up, we have to find a way to give ourselves a little bit of grace and a lot of self-love along the way.
That’s why we’ve decided to celebrate the season of “Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice” with this Pumpkin Spice Latte Sugar Scrub.
Not only does it smell amazing but it also leaves our skin really soft. Bonus, it’s an easy “make and take” gift for friends and loved ones who might need an at-home spa break too!
Here’s a look a all the details if you want to celebrate Fall and make a pumpkin spice latte sugar scrub too…
Pumpkin Spice Latte Sugar Scrub Recipe:
- 2 cups white sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon of ground coffee
- ¾ cup of organic coconut oil.
Pumpkin Spice Latte Sugar Scrub Steps:
Place 2 cups of white sugar in a bowl. If you’re out of white sugar you can use raw sugar, sea salt, or Epsom salt.
Add ½ cup of brown sugar.
Add 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice to the sugar mix.
Next, add 1 teaspoon of ground coffee.
Finally, add ¾ cup of organic coconut oil.
Mix well.
Scoop the mixture into a jar with a self-sealing lid that has been well cleaned and is completely dry.
As with most homemade scrubs depending on the type of oil you choose to use, the oil may either settle at the bottom or will rise to the top so you may have to mix it up before use.
In addition, use common sense, caution, and care when using scrubs like these in the bath or shower, as the scrub will become slippery after use.
If you’re hosting or visiting family and friends for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, this gift is so easy to make and take. You can add a simple ribbon,
a handmade tag or even buy one from the craft supply store,
While there may be some stressful or overwhelming times as we head into the holiday season, there will also be some tender joy-filled moments we don’t want to miss.
Those are the moments worth hanging on to.
Let us know your favorite way to combat stress as we ease into the holidays. Until next time, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
