From the Front Porch

How are you guys holding up this week? Are you back in the swing of things after a busy Thanksgiving weekend? It’s been a bittersweet few days for us as we said goodbye to The Pickers Market earlier this week. I feel mostly at peace with everything and I’m excited for the next season of the journey. That being said, I would be lying if I told you it had been easy. Letting go of what “was” for what “can be” is sometimes the hardest part of the whole process.

I’m looking forward to a weekend filled with nothing but fun and I hope you guys are looking forward to the same. Here are a few things that caught my eye from around the web this week…….(Affiliate links have been provided for your convenience. You can read our full disclosure policy here)

Have you guys seen this list of 15 Air BnB Cabins to Rent This Winter? Oh so cozy!

Do you guys still send out holiday cards? Here’s an easy list of Ways to Make Your Holiday Cards Stand Out.

This is seriously one of THE most stunning Christmas Home Tours I’ve ever seen. I could get lost on Monika Hibbs blog for hours.

I know the next few weeks will be busy with school plays, recorder recitals and holiday parties. 12th and White has a great list of Weeknight Dinners in 15 Minutes or Less. She had me at the words “15 minutes or less.”

This kitchen, oh my word, totally stunning. I can’t wait to try that cookie recipe too.

I’ve been looking for some faux fur pillows to go on the front porch and I may try these.

If you still need an easy gift for a friend, coworker, sister or hostess you may want to consider this initial tray. It’s really pretty and can be used year-round.

This is one of my all-time favorite holiday cd’s if you love Christmas music. If you haven’t heard Andrew Bird’s version of Auld Lang Syne, believe me, nobody does it better.

I’m obsessed with Fair Isle Sweaters and even though this is actually a guy’s sweater, I would totally wear it.

Finally, I could not have made it through this week without the help of my mom who decorated the majority of Bliss Barracks by herself so I would have something to share with you while we were dealing with TPM and my bestie S who helped me move everything out of the booth. It’s been bananas lately but you two made everything as drama free as possible and I appreciate you both more than I can say!

In case you missed anything from The Crowned Goat this week, here’s a peek at what we’ve been up to…

I hope you guys all have a peace filled and relaxing weekend. We have a great week coming up next week. I’ll share how we decorated my childhood home, Loblolly Manor with you next week. Until then, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.

Many blessings,

CoCo
