From the Front Porch
Happy Friday from the front porch you guys! We’re always happy to be a part of your day and appreciate you spending time with us so much.
How has your week been?
I was really hoping to have more of an update on the shed makeover by now but it’s been raining every day again this week so we’ve had to completely pivot and change our plan of action.
This is the exact reason I was hoping to be finished with the makeover by Labor Day. Once we get into hurricane season, there’s just not a lot you can do about the rain and weather delays.
Fingers crossed the work station countertop will be delivered today, the weather will clear out and we’ll be up and running again!
Despite the rain, the good news is I was able to start cleaning out and organizing the garage to help with some of the overflow from the bedroom, bathroom and shed makeovers we’re currently working on.
It wasn’t horrible but it drives me crazy to not be able to find items I know I have.
I’m hoping to have a system similar to the one we used for my inventory closet a few years ago with a bit more organization in place by the end of the weekend.

Crossing my fingers everything comes together for you and your shed project, CoCo! I know all about delays with remodeling. Ugh! Good luck too with your organizing project! I’m working on one right now in our dining room. Thank you for all the inspiration this week! I just love that entry post. That table…WOW just wow! Have a fabulous weekend!
I really appreciate your encouragement, Christine, thank you! I’m usually able to knock out projects in a decent timeline but I feel like this one has been one delay after the other. The countertop arrived this weekend so I feel like we’re at least headed in the right direction. That entry table was great, wasn’t it? That whole post gave me a totally different perspective on scale too. Hope your week is a happy one. I’m thinking of you and all the projects you have going on too! I know they’ll be amazing, CoCo
That entry transformation was quite the beautiful change. I loved how the color of those stems popped off the wall. Always love your From the Front Porch posts!
I know! She always has the best ideas! It totally made me rethink our entry. I mean, it’s a lot smaller than hers but I still think it’s worth trying if we can find the right piece 🙂 Sending you lots of hugs for a happy week, CoCo
