From the Front Porch

Happy Friday from the front porch, you guys!

We took some time off to spend with our families for the holidays so it’s great to be back with you.

I’ve spent most of the week easing into the swing of things again and slowly catching up.

In years past, I would have hit the ground running crossing off goals and managing my to-do list like a boss.

But this year, something feels completely different.

I’ve decided to work on establishing better habits, implementing solid systems, and creating healthy boundaries.

It might take a hot minute to get it all going. But I know in the long run it’s going to be the little things that made the biggest difference so I’m excited about the journey.

What are you most excited about this year?

  1. I’m right there with you. I don’t know what it is, but this year it’s been a bit difficult to get on track. But you just have to keep on keeping on, right?! I’ve so missed your Front Porch posts. Definitely need to catch up! P.S. If you’re looking for an AMAZING sleep pillow, hands down for me it’s a MY Pillow! I seriously didn’t believe all the hype but then I tried one. Now I can’t sleep without it. Hugs, Christine

    1. You are so right, Christine, putting one grace-filled foot in front of the other is definitely going to be the name of the game this year. We’ve been trying our best to manage our expectations and just ease into things as well as take time to celebrate winter and all things cozy 🙂 I’ve had a MY Pillow for the past few years and loved it but I think I’ve washed it too much because it won’t hold it’s shape now which is kind of weird. I’m on the hunt though….maybe a chill or gel pillow…I’m shocked and kind of overwhelmed at all the options now ha ha Hugs for a happy weekend, CoCo
