From the Front Porch: Goodbye 2025, Hello 2026
Hello from the front porch sweet friends and welcome to the Goodbye 2025, Hello 2026 version of this weekly series.
I hope your Christmas and holiday season has been everything you’ve wanted and needed it to be.
We’re still on holiday break enjoying time with friends and family but I wanted to drop in in case you’re looking for fun ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve or simple ways to kick off the New Year!
In the past, I would have definitely been that person who tried to cram all.the.goals in January.
I’m talking everything from starting a new journal to new health and wellness routines to crafting new organization systems to creating new financial habits.
But trying to tackle everything at once can quickly lead to burnout or abandoning our goals all together if we’re not careful.
So, I want to gently remind you that it’s ok to take your time to decide what you truly want this year.
Choose one to three things to focus on in the month of January, map out a plan that feels doable given your current schedule and lifestyle, then be courageous enough to take action.
Milestone moments are the hero moments we tend to remember most.
But it’s the tiny steps we take every single day that ultimately pave the way for an extraordinary life.
As always, I’ll be cheering you on as you prepare for your best year yet.

Great post CoCo! So much wonderful information. I’m liking the trends for 2024 and I’ll be wearing a tulle skirt for NYE. 🙂 Happy new year friend. XO- MaryJo
I’m glad you’re still enjoying some much-needed time off. Those tours were amazing! I have been toying with painting the walls in our kitchen black or charcoal. We have cream cabinets that need new paint but no time or willpower to tackle them and cat vomit/outdated countertops. But going from Tiffany Box blue is such a big leap and so scary! Then I clicked on Haneen’s Haven and wowza, the stunning photos are something else! I’ve always loved black accents in every room but I also love light bright creamy white rooms. I guess we’ll see what mood I take when the day comes. All I know right now is that THE DAY IS COMING! Even if I have to do it myself! Happy New Year CoCo! XXOO
Happy New Year CoCo! I hope your holiday vacation has been restorative. A new year always affords us so much opportunity – to start anew. New routines, new goals, new ways of thinking. . . Wishing you a successful, healthy, prosperous and joyful 2024. (And Piper too – of course)
I love seeing all of the ideas you share! There are some great ones here. I hope you have a wonderful 2026! Happy New Year!
This was a fun post, especially reading about what is out and what will be in during 2026. It seems that I wasn’t “in” at all last year but apparently I will be just fine this year when it comes to my home’s decor.. 😊 Wishing you all the best in the New Year.
