Pearl Wreath Christmas Ornament

We’re sharing a simple pearl wreath Christmas ornament today!

One of the questions I get asked most frequently about belonging to a big farm family is how we manage to stay so close.

Truthfully, it takes a lot of hard work and a ton of grace.

But I can honestly say it’s 100% worth the effort to maintain those close bonds.

A few years ago, best-selling author, motivational speaker, and podcaster, Jon Acuff, shared a sentiment that has stuck with me.

He said, “Care about, what the people you care about, care about.

And this year I’ve made a concerted effort to home in on those things.

As with most families in the South, football has been a fun way to bring us all together.

Especially given, that one of my favorite cousins is game-day obsessed.

Nearly every Saturday since the season began, she and I have texted each other during the FSU games and it’s been so much fun!

Several weeks ago, I settled into my Saturday college football routine only to realize I had about 30 minutes to spare.

So, I decided to make these simple pearl wreath Christmas ornaments.

They’re honestly so easy they don’t need a full tutorial.

But I know the step-by-step directions are always helpful.

Here’s a look at how to make a simple pearl wreath Christmas ornament if you find yourself with a few extra minutes to spare too…

Pearl Wreath Ornament Supplies:

  • Pearls
  • Jewelry wire
  • Jewelry wire cutters
  • Ribbon

Pearl Wreath Ornament Steps:

Gather your supplies.

Using caution and care, cut the jewelry wire to the size you want your wreath to be.

Again, using caution and care as wire edges will be sharp, string your pearl beads onto the wire.

Be sure to form a wreath shape as you go along.

Once your pearl wreath is the size you want, twist and crimp the top of the wire so that it is completely flat and smooth.

That way, you won’t risk poking yourself or someone else if you plan to gift this pearl wreath ornament.

Next, embellish with a bow.

We used blush but you can use any color that fits with your holiday home décor.

Finally, hang your pearl wreath ornament on the tree, and you’re good to go!
