Quick and Easy Fall Vignette Ideas
We’re sharing quick and easy Fall vignette ideas today using dollar store and big box craft store pumpkins, green apples as well as brown and white transferware.
When it comes to creating a festive home throughout the year, I totally get how overwhelming seasonal decorating can be.
So, let me just take the pressure off a bit and reassure you, it is definitely possible to have a cozy home without having lots of holiday décor.
You can have as much or as little pomp and circumstance as you want, no matter what the season!
If you’re struggling with where to begin this year, one of the easiest places to start is incorporating festive touches into your existing vignettes.
That way, you won’t feel like you’re having to redecorate the entire house, you can go at your own pace, you won’t buy more things than you actually need, and you’ll save time in the process too!
One of the best examples of incorporating seasonal touches into existing vignettes is how we decorate our coffee table.
Truth be told, it’s usually covered in lots of books, bowls of popcorn, and pumpkin spice lattes this time of year.
Sometimes, we even find Piper using it as a perch!
Despite being used daily, we’re constantly trying to strike a balance between pretty and practical.
And you can too.
Here’s a look at quick and easy Fall vignette ideas…
As you can see above, I decided to use the same elements for our Fall vignette as we used for our Summer vignette.
- Tall Vase
- Bundle of Flowers
- Small-Medium Plant in a White-Washed Terracotta Pot
- Decorative Item
- Wicker Tray
In an effort to keep things super simple as we transition from one season to the next, we changed out the Summer inspired flowers to Fall inspired flowers in the tall vase…
changed out the plant for one with cooler tones…
and traded the ironstone sugar bowl for a DIY Heirloom Pumpkin.
The exciting thing is this quick and easy Fall vignette idea didn’t take long at all. In fact, these changes took around 15 minutes just because I had to arrange the flowers.
Fresh flowers will always be my first choice, but we really struggle with allergies around here. So, we play it safe with faux.
Other Fall Vignette Ideas to Consider…
Once I saw what a difference adding a simple pop of color made in this Fall vignette, I decided to play around and try a few other pumpkins too.
Here’s a look at the same vignette with our brown and white transferware pumpkin…
a plain cream-colored pumpkin we picked up from a craft store bin a few years ago…
a harvest-inspired pumpkin, also from the craft store.
and just for kicks and giggles, I tried a Halloween-inspired DIY pumpkin too.
Now I know some of you might not be ready for pumpkins just yet, so I also filled a small ironstone bowl with raffia and added a green apple for an early Fall feel.
And since I was on a roll 😂, I also tried the same setup with a piece of brown and white transferware for those of you who don’t decorate for the seasons at all.
I hope these quick and easy Fall vignette ideas show you just how simple it can be to incorporate festive touches around the house and into existing décor.
After all, the ultimate goal is to create a warm and inviting home for you and your family no matter what the season.
Let us know how you’re planning to decorate for Fall this year! Until next time, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
Many blessings,
CoCo
I love that those are easy to change out for a new look and I bet Piper doesn’t mind sharing the perch. pinned.
Thank you, Cindy! I swear this little coffee table vignette has been one of the easiest things we’ve ever created for Fall. Thanks so much for pinning! I’ll let you know how Piper does with all the faux pumpkins. So far, she seems a little too curious 😂 Hugs, CoCo
Sometimes the simplest changes are the best, CoCo. xo Laura
I couldn’t agree with you more, Laura! Hope your week has been a blessed one, CoCo

Piper is adorable. Mine don’t sit still long enough to take a picture

Thank you, Cindy! Piper is definitely curious and loves to see everything we’re doing. While we try our best to keep her off the furniture, she’s constantly sneaking and “hides” in spots she thinks we won’t notice. It’s kind of adorable. Sending lots of hugs to you and your cutie pie pups too, CoCo
I LOVE These simple ideas, CoCo!! Sometimes simple is better 🙂 I always love to see your ironstone and transferware make an appearance 🙂 Hugs, friend.
