We’re sharing 8 Festive Patriotic DIY Ideas today. A sweet shoutout and thank you to Rachel of The Ponds Farmhouse for putting this fantastic group together!

It literally feels like it was just Easter, doesn’t it?

I swear the spring to summer season flies by every single year.

I know some of you might still be in the midst of finalizing your travel, menu, and decorating plans for Memorial Day and the 4th of July.

We are as well.

Given this time of year can be such a busy one, I thought it would be fun to team up with some of my favorite creative ladies for 8 festive patriotic DIY ideas.

These ideas cover everything from vintage home décor to tablescapes to fabulous ideas for your front door and porch!

Bonus, they’re relatively quick and easy too.

Here’s a look at 8 Festive Patriotic DIY Ideas…

Festive Patriotic Door and Porch Décor Ideas:

How to Make a Flag Shutter DIY with a Coastal Twist…

Jennifer from Cottage on Bunker Hill gave a $10 shutter she found at an antique store a total makeover in this post, How to Make a Flag Shutter DIY with a Coastal Twist,

Honestly, it doesn’t even look like the same piece which is so cool!

This nautical shutter can be used indoors or out and for everything from party decorations to porch décor. Plus, it’s budget-friendly!

You’ll also love, Jennifer’s New England Coastal Front Porch. It will make you want to snuggle up with a good book ASAP.

Galvanize Farmhouse Flag Wreath…

If you’re looking for a festive front door idea, look no further than Jen of the blog Tatertots and Jello!

I love how you can easily change the numbers in this Galvanized Farmhouse Flag Wreath to fit both Memorial Day and Independence Day.

Plus, the bunting and garlands above the wreath could be used from Memorial Day to Veterans Day as well.

Jen’s blog is filled with tons of festive holiday ideas so be sure to look around a bit! I can’t tell you how many things I’ve pinned from her patriotic posts.

Front Porch Ideas for Fourth of July…

Speaking of festive garlands, I love how Janine from Happy Happy Nester decorated her Front Porch for the 4th of July.

The garlands combined with the paper fans really help to show off the festive front door basket filled with flowers and flags.

I love this idea because it feels intentional and totally doable. Especially, if you’re running short on time.

Janine is another one that has so many fabulous ideas on her blog. One of my personal favorites is her paper pinwheels!

Patriotic Home Décor Ideas:

Easy Patriotic Décor Using Vintage Flags…

Over the past few years, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Debra of Common Ground through a variety of blog hops. I was studying and pinning her vignettes long before we were ever in our first group together though!

Debra truly has a special way of adding vintage touches to every inch of her home in every season.

Don’t miss her festive patriotic DIY ideas in this post, Easy Patriotic Décor Using Vintage Flags. It’s full of pinnable and achievable ideas.

Denim and Lace Scrap Flag…

You know this Denim and Lace Fabric Scrap Flag from Cindy of DIY Beautify had me at ruffles!

Cindy is super creative and always comes up with interesting ideas.

In a million years would have never thought to use the materials she uses to bring this project to life. But I know I’ll be on the hunt for pearlized buttons now!

If you haven’t seen it yet, you’ll also love Cindy’s indoor/outdoor flag banner!

DIY Ticking Patriotic Napkins…

One of my favorite things about Rachel of The Ponds Farmhouse is when she can’t find something she’s looking for she makes herself and then shares the process with all of us!

These DIY Ticking Patriotic Napkins are one of those totally adorable projects.

Can you even with the little cutlery pocket?

Her greenhouse is one of my favorite places in Blogland so in addition to this beautiful watermelon tablescape don’t miss how she used these napkins on a patriotic tablescape too!
