A Budget Friendly Mini Spring Bouquet
We’re sharing how to make a budget-friendly mini spring bouquet using a container from the Dollar Tree!
If you’ve been a friend of The Crowned Goat for any length of time, you probably already know how much I love things that are not only easy to create but are also easy to gift as well.
In the past, I’ve definitely been that person who comes back to my desk after a hard morning to find a small bouquet of flowers with a little note that says, “Hang in there, you’re making a difference,” or a candy bar from the hospital gift shop that says, “Thank you for being so sweet.”
While these tokens might seem small, they made a big impact on my day because they were exactly what I needed at the time.
So, whenever I get the chance, I try to pass that feeling of, “I see you,” “I get you,” “I’m here for you,” “We’re in this together,” along to others.
Here’s a look at how to create a budget-friendly mini spring bouquet.

How to Create a Budget-Friendly Mini Spring Bouquet
Mini Spring Bouquet Supplies
- Small Container (we bought this at the Dollar Tree)
- Floral Stems (we bought these from Michaels)
- Floral Foam, optional
- Spray Paint, optional
- Ribbon, optional
Mini Spring Bouquet Steps
Gather your supplies and make sure your container is free from dirt and debris.
I found these cute containers at the Dollar Tree in the spring section.

They’re a great size, and I love the scallop detail.

But I want to be able to reuse the container.
So, I spray painted it with Rust-oleum Chalk Paint in Blush Pink.

While I was waiting for the container to dry, I created a small bouquet using floral picks I found in the seasonal section of Michaels.
Floral picks are great for budget-friendly mini spring bouquets because they’re inexpensive and can be used in many ways.

You can add a piece of floral foam to the bottom of your container to keep the floral picks stable, or loosely tie the bouquet at the bottom.

Finally, add a ribbon or bow.

A Simple Decorating or Gift Idea
What I love about this budget-friendly mini spring bouquet is that it’s the perfect size to use on tablescapes, as part of a vignette, to help accent a food table or drink bar, or to include on a nightstand.
They’re also the perfect size for gifting because they don’t take up a lot of room.
So, consider putting a mini spring bouquet like this on a coworker’s desk, including it with a meal you’re dropping off to a new mom or sick loved one, or adding it to your breakfast tray.
It’s a small gesture that can have a big impact and help to change someone’s day.

Many blessings,
CoCo
