I’m so excited to share the gift of a personalized monogram for Mother’s Day today. A special shoutout and thank you to Shuler Studio for sponsoring this post!
An Ordinary Saturday…
A few months ago, I was set to meet my bestie S at our favorite bookstore for coffee. It was a blustery day and while I was bundled up, I was ready to get inside and warm up a bit.
Before I even made it to the door though, something stopped me in my tracks.
Seated at a small bistro table tucked just inside the large café window was a couple who looked to be in their early 70s. The wife was reading the newspaper, her shiny white hair perfectly coiffed in a classic bob. She wore a blue and white striped shirt with navy blue pants and leather loafers with tassels. Draped over her chair were a trench coat and scarf. The charms on her bracelet easily caught the lights in the café.
Her husband was wearing a navy blue cable knit cashmere sweater, tweed pants, and a heavily starched button-down with cuff links.
On the table were plates of half-eaten croissants and lattes in cappuccino mugs.
There was an elegance about the way the couple interacted that conveyed they’d been together for decades. They were so relaxed in each other’s company you could tell it was just an ordinary Saturday morning for them.
That alone would have been enough to stop me in my tracks.
It wasn’t the reason I stood there captivated though.
As she was quietly reading the paper, he was busy writing on the most beautiful custom monogrammed correspondence cards using a fountain pen.
The entire scene could have easily been a Ralph Lauren ad.
I caught up with S a few minutes later. But the memory of the couple enjoying simple pleasures on an ordinary Saturday morning has been with me ever since.
Working with Shuler Studio…
When it came time to find a special way to celebrate my Mom, I immediately thought back to that day and decided to gift her with a personalized monogram for Mother’s Day.
It didn’t take long before I discovered artist, designer, and small business owner Pam Shuler of Shuler Studio.
Her monograms are truly works of art!
After a few emails, Pam had not only created a design for my Mom, but she had also helped with a design for my sweet aunt who has been battling an aggressive form of breast cancer.
We’re just a few weeks away from marking the one-year anniversary of her diagnosis and I knew she would love a personalized monogram as well.
There are so many things I loved about working with Pam. She’s incredibly patient and took the time to answer all my questions quickly.
The personalized monograms and custom designs she creates can be used for printing, vinyl, engraving, wax seals, ink stamps, tags, labels, and so much more.
Shuler Studio even has options for embroidery too which basically opens up a world of gifting ideas!
Ordering a 2-Letter Monogram, Add-Ons, & Font Packages…
I thought a personalized monogram like the ones I wanted for my Mom and aunt would be complicated. It couldn’t have been easier with Shuler Studio though.
If you’re ordering a two-letter monogram, add-on features, or a font package you want to put together yourself or use individually, simply place the items in your cart and check out.
Once your order has been received and processed, a digital download of the items you’ve chosen will be sent directly to your email address.
Shuler Studio has pages and pages of beautiful 2 letter monograms that can be used without an add-on.
Ordering a 2-Letter Monogram Layered with Add-Ons…
If you’re adding layers to your 2-letter monogram, as we did, simply select a monogram and your add-ons. Then place your order and check out.
Once your order has been received and processed, you can send a note to Shuler Studio via their contact page to have a personalized monogram and add-on layers combined into a single image. Then they will send a digital download directly to your email address.
I chose to layer the Thomaston Laurel Wreath, Bee, and Antique Chic MT No 11 as my Mom’s personalized monogram.
I don’t want to give too much away on my aunt’s design since we haven’t gifted it to her yet. It’s completely different from my Mom’s design and just as beautiful.
I’ll update this post as soon as we give it to her so you can see it though.
The Gift of a Personalized Monogram for Mother’s Day from Shuler Studio…
If you’re wondering if I’ve chosen a personalized monogram of my own, I confess I haven’t yet. I’ve narrowed it down to 3 options!
Shuler Studio makes it tough because all the monograms, add-ons, and fonts are so pretty it’s hard to make a decision!
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, a unique and personalized monogram would make an amazing gift for the Mom who has everything.
Even if you’ve chosen a gift for Mother’s Day already, bespoke and personalized monograms, stationery suites, ink stamps, wax seals, labels, and tags can be used throughout the year.
A personalized monogram can also be used for weddings, showers, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, parties, and other special occasion events.
Printing a Personalized Monogram…
I want my Mom to be able to pick out the paper color, finish, weight, and envelope style she wants. So, we’ll be working with a local printer for her stationery suite.
I plan to give her a thumb drive with the digital download on it. But I also plan to give my Mom the notecards shared in this post which I printed using our home computer. That way, she’ll have an idea of what a personalized monogram will look like on folded and flat cards before we meet with the printer.
You can also print your digital download and personalized monogram for Mother’s Day using an online vendor like Mpix, Digital Lizard, Stationery HQ, or Zazzle for high-quality prints.
All in all, I couldn’t be happier with the way these personalized monograms came together. They’re not only beautiful but they also feel like such a special way to honor two ladies I hold dear.
Again, thank you to Pam for helping to make my Mom’s Mother’s Day and my aunt’s anniversary so special!
All thoughts, opinions, and experiences contained within this post are my own. It was truly a pleasure to work with Pam and her fabulous company. I can’t wait to pick out a personalized monogram of my own!Until next time, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
