From the Front Porch
Happy Friday from the front porch, you guys, I hope your week has been joy and purpose-filled!
Can you believe it’s Valentine’s Day weekend already?
Do you have anything fun planned?
I had dinner with my first Valentines (my parents) last night. We have brunch and bookstore plans tomorrow, and if the weather holds out a low key visit to the zoo as well.
Mostly, I’m hoping for a weekend of blue skies, breakfast in bed, lazy naps, finishing the book of the month, and baking heart-shaped sugar cookies with lots of sprinkles.
I ran into Lowes the other day and stopped by the garden center. They don’t have a huge selection of flowers yet but I spotted the most amazing ornamental kale plants.
It’s such a small thing but it had me all kinds of excited for Spring. Truthfully, it will be here before we know it!

Thanks so much, Christine! Hope your weekend is richly blessed as well. Happy Valentine’s Day, CoCo
I hope you had a wonderful weekend with your parents – such a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, CoCo! And I hope your spring is just around the corner, it’s my favourite season (I say, as we start heading into autumn here in Australia).
Thank you, Katerina! We don’t live in the same town so it’s fun to see my parents any time of the year but especially on Valentine’s Day. I hope your celebration was joy-filled too. It’s been a wild winter over here so we’re all kind of excited for spring to arrive. Hope you’re ready to ease into Autumn and celebrate all the season has to offer. Hugs, CoCo
