From the Front Porch

Happy Thursday from the front porch, you guys! How has your week been?

We hope you’re savoring every last drop of summer you possibly can given S-C-H-O-O-L is just around the corner.  It’s such a special time of year!

I’ve been staying at Bliss Barracks this week visiting my parents.  It’s been so much fun to spend some uninterrupted time with them.  We’ve enjoyed everything from treasure hunting to makeover planning to knocking out projects around my house.

I still can’t get over all we were able to accomplish in such a small amount of time.  They freely give of their time and talents and it always feels like the biggest blessing.

We worked pretty hard most days but thankfully managed to steal away time to plan for Fall. We’re super excited about the upcoming season now. You can find all but one of these magazines on newsstands now.

 Scenes from Our Week…

It was crazy hot at Renninger’s but we had a fantastic time.  I’ll share more of what we brought home next week but for now, here’s a peek at a booth that had THE prettiest chippy finds!

And this container garden upcycle made from an antique bathtub.

Celebrating the end of our time together and prepping for an install later this weekend.  My Mom and I are totally obsessed with the salted caramel pizzokies at BJs. If haven’t had one yet you should definitely try it.

Spotted at IKEA this week! I mean, how cute is this coffee bar? And it would be so easy to do something similar at home too.

TCG Housekeeping Notes…

I’m headed to Loblolly Manor with my Mom for the rest of the week and through the weekend to pick pears and help her with an install.  She’s the lead on this particular project and she’s done such a great job.

My Mom has always been the best assistant on the installs she helped me with so I’m looking forward to paying it forward.  I told her I would make sure she had plenty of snacks and hot coffee at all times he he.

Whatever you have planned I hope it’s something you’re excited about too.  I can’t wait to see you back here next week.  Until next time, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.

Many blessings,

CoCo
