From the Front Porch

Happy Friday from the front porch, you guys! I hope your week has been a good one.

I’m keeping it short and sweet today because it’s been a mayday kind of week over here.

If you visited the website recently and got an error message, I apologize. Everything was down for about 12 hours Tuesday and Wednesday due to one of our plug-ins which then caused a whole host of other issues.

We’ve been working on a major update behind the scenes, it’s just a bit more involved than what we had originally planned.

I definitely apologize for any inconvenience though.

In other news, Piper was doing SO well until the time change hit and things have been all out of sorts since.

The damage this week is as follows:

  • pink ink gel stains on the white bedsheets
  • 3 broken bunnies
  • the best part of a breakfast sandwich stolen
  • the bottom part of one of the gutters ripped off during a “lizard safari”
  • the new artwork in the breakfast nook got knocked down the day we put it up
  • 3 years worth of photos on one SIM card destroyed

Thankfully, through it all there has been heaping amounts of grace and beautiful flowers for our front porch.

Oh, I can’t wait to have one of those soon! Happy Friday! Hugs!

    1. She’s is definitely giving us a run for our money, Christine! I was telling someone the other day she can melt my heart and make me mad all in the same minute ? Thankfully, we’re able to give her heaps of grace because she’s a cutie pie and rescues come with their own challenges. She’s worth it though. Happy Friday sweet friend, CoCo

    1. Thank you, Cheryl! It’s been a rainy weekend which is exactly what we’ve needed to get back on track. Hope yours has been a good one too. Hugs, CoCo

  4. Those website updates are always more involved than one originally thinks. I did a major update early last year and I’m always adding something more or tweaking. Anyway, I hope it all turns out just how you’d hoped!

It also sounds as if you’ve had a very busy and full week especially where Piper is concerned. LOL.

I love all these lists and all the information you share. I’ve put that cute gingham dress in my shopping cart. It will go so nicely with most of my closet. And who doesn’t love gingham. hehe.

    1. I couldn’t agree with you more, Kristin! I think blogging in general is more involved than anyone ever expects it will be either. I couldn’t have imagined it would be like this myself. PIper is so much work but she’s is such a cutie pie it’s hard to be upset with her for any length of time. We’re glad to have her out of foster care and are hoping she settles in soon. So excited you like the gingham dress. It totally looks like something you can dress up or down! Hugs for a happy week, CoCo

  5. I am so sorry to hear about the crazy plugin issues. Plugins save so much development cost, but they can also let us down sometimes. I loved your Jadeite cupcake stand, it’s such a lovely Easter centerpiece idea!

    1. Thank you, Heidi! I know you completely understand all the ins and out of plug-ins and the issues they bring sometimes. More times than not they are totally worth it but you definitely have to make sure you have the right combination. We have just a few more bugs to work out and fingers crossed we’ll be on our way. So excited to hear you like the jadeite cupcake stand. It was super easy to make and we use them all the time! Big hugs for a happy week, CoCo

  6. Piper has had a busy week and so have you. Losing pictures is a big downer but you will get everything sorted out and back on track. Take a breath and enjoy that pretty porch of yours.

Hugs to all and have a productive weekend!

    Cindy

    1. Thank you, Cindy! I have all my camera cards safely stored away now and I’m looking forward to learning how to use the wifi on my camera too ? She’s a cutie pie so we’ll keep her. Fingers crossed one day soon we get the hang of it all. Hugs, CoCo
