Easy Spring Tablescape Ideas

Today we’re sharing easy Spring Tablescape ideas.

One of my favorite things about Easter, or any holiday really, is gathering around the table to relax and enjoy my family’s company.

Like a lot of families, we play “Roses and Thorns,” toast each other’s accomplishments, laugh as the littles tell their latest funny joke and because my Dad played Jeopardy with us at the dinner table when we were kids my Mom usually has some sort of fun fact to share too.

While we outgrew the table at Bliss Barracks years ago, it’s still one of my favorite places to be no matter what the season or the holiday.

I know some of you are living in places that still have pandemic restrictions in place and others will be traveling to see friends and family this year.

Whatever you have planned, I hope this Spring allows you to see the people gathered around your table in a fresh way.

Here’s a look at Easy Spring Tablescape Ideas…

Use a Seasonal Color Palette That Complements Your Existing Home Decor…

As you guys know, I’m a neutrals girl through and through! But once Spring hits, I love layering pops of pink and soft pastels into the mix.

We use these gray chargers and white plates throughout the year because they complement our existing color palette so well.

This combination is also really easy to mix and match with vintage and antique plates and linens.

Vary Texture and Soft Elements on An Easy Spring Tablescape with Fabric…

We’re constantly looking for seasonal fabrics or blankets at thrift stores, antique malls, estate sales, and craft supply stores throughout the year.

Now is such a great time to buy Spring and Summer inspired fabrics before they get picked over.

Seasonal fabrics can instantly help change the look of your easy Spring tablescape no matter if you’re creating a table runner or refreshing the pillows in your breakfast nook!

If you find a fabric that has a variety of colors in it, use those colors to help pull additional shades into your seasonal color palette.

Layering fabrics like linen, rayon, seersucker, chambray, silk, and hemp, will help to create a cozy feeling in your home and on your Spring tablescapes too.

Layer in Bits of Nature…

When it comes to layering bits of nature into your easy Spring tablescape and centerpiece ideas, look no further than your yard, local nursery, garden center, or the floral picks aisle at the craft supply store.

Flowers, plants, blooming branches, bird nests, eggs, moss, and sticks are usually plentiful this time of year.

You can so use store-bought bunny and duck décor, items from your potting shed, weathered concrete statues, and seed packets to create an easy Spring tablescape too.

Be sure to clean all items from your yard, nursery, or garden center very well before bringing them inside.  You definitely want to make sure they are free from dirt and pests!

Create Ambiance On An Easy Spring Tablescape…

Use unscented candles, votives, mason jars, lanterns, or hurricanes to create a warm soft glow that will make you and your guests feel both relaxed and celebrated.

Shop the Grocery Store for Budget-Friendly Seasonal Decor…

There are a lot of seasonal decorating ideas right in the grocery store!

Think oranges, lemons, cabbages, kale, carrots, strawberries, herbs, Easter candy, pastel-colored cookies, and coconut-covered cakes.

Then add a few of your favorite flowers into the mix for a gorgeous Spring-inspired centerpiece and you’re good to go.

I hope these tips have helped! Creating an easy Spring tablescape is all about celebrating the seasons and decorating with what you love most.

Part of what makes Spring such a special season is the slower pace before school gets out and the hustle and bustle of Summer begins!

This time of year offers us all an invitation to reclaim and reset our priorities.

So, bring on the pastels, the fresh-squeezed lemonade, and all the pretty flowers!

Let us know if you’re decorating an Easy Spring Tablescape this year! Until next time, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
