Latest Finds and The Pickers Market Booth Update
I didn’t want to let the month end without sharing my latest finds and an update on my booth at The Pickers Market. September is usually a month of transition for the store. A lot of our shoppers have settled into a new school and work routine or returned home from vacation. As vendors, we’re clearing out old stock to make room for new items and preparing for holiday sales. I spent most of last Tuesday adding new inventory to the booth and marking old items down. I can’t speak for all areas but right now is a really good time to get deals on everything from furniture to smalls as a lot of vendors are changing things up. Coincidentally, the blue dresser and the herboriste table sold this past weekend. I forgot my camera at home so here are a few pictures of my booth I took with my phone:
I try to keep a pretty consistent shopping schedule but this month I’ve been decorating the house for fall and playing catch up from a busy summer. Some of these pieces you’ll recognize in vignettes around the house and others you’ll see in upcoming posts. After having taken all of the bedroom furniture that was in my room to Loblolly Manor we’ve been on the hunt for linens and accessories too. Here are a few things I picked up this month:
I thought this rug was going to be the perfect runner but it was actually smaller than a doormat. I love the print though.
Remember those tarnished trophies?
This is the first face jug I’ve ever bought and I think I feel a new collection starting
I’ve taken most of the things in this picture to the booth already.
In the very back you can see extra storage pieces I’ve picked up for my office. The blue and white metal box is actually an old doll box. It’s already at my booth too.
I picked up this sweet little angel for Christmas.
All of these coastal items have been taken to the booth. Those brass door knockers are perfect for beach cottages.
This tow away zone sign is for a gallery wall that will be in my room at my parent’s house. The letters are for a future project.
How cute are these dogs?
This old coffee pot is going to be perfect for fall vignettes. On a side note, I hear the painted cows are staying. I can’t decide if the metal holder is for toast or letters.
See you guys back here tomorrow. I know I say this every month but I can’t believe it’s already time to say Goodbye September, Hello October.
Many blessings,
CoCo
Hey CoCo – You always find the most amazing loot! We love the silver, cutting board, basket and definitely the painted cows! We appreciate how hard it is to curate all of these items. This is why you are a successful business woman! Well done!
You guys are sweet, thanks for being my cheerleader and for supporting small businesses everywhere. Hugs, Coco
Love them all…especially the dogs 🙂
I know, Angie, I love those dogs too. I have a feeling they’ll show up at my parents home. My mom totally fell in love with them. Hugs, CoCo
Coco, I love all your new finds and that rug and boxes are fab. I love the high you get when you find new things, don’t you? have a great day, Lisa
