Brother P-Touch Everyday Label Maker Review
We’re sharing a Brother P-Touch Everyday Label Maker review today!
There’s something about this time of year that makes the planner in me incredibly excited.
I don’t know if it’s the delight of a new season or the promise of a fresh start.
But I love diving into all things planning and organization.
While most of our life is digitized, I still use a paper calendar and planner sheets to organize much of our day to day in a command center style binder.
Sure, the instant accessibility of having digitized files, calendars, and templates helps to make our lives easier.
But the benefits of putting pen to paper to help clarify thoughts, the ability to focus solely on planning free from notifications and other distractions and the creative flexibility that comes from customizing a binder in the way we need most keeps me coming back to paper time and time again.

One Tool That Helps Us Stay Organized…
One tool that has helped us stay organized over the years is labels.
We use labels on everything from the baskets in the pantry to the days of the week tags that help coordinate our outfits for the week.
Recently, I’ve been setting up my planner for next year and organzing the paperwork we keep on hand for aging loved ones.
I usually print labels from my computer.
But trying to get all the words lined up on those precut sticker sheets can take up a lot of time.
Not only that, there are times when I only want to print three or four labels at a time not an entire sheet.
So, after doing a little research, I purchased the Brother P-Touch Everyday Label Maker.
Spoiler alert, it’s been such a time saver.

Here’s a look at how we use the Brother P-Touch Everyday Label Maker in case you’re looking for one too…

Brother P-Touch Everyday Label Maker
Brother P-Touch Everyday Label Maker Review
I purchased the Brother P-Touch PTD-220 Everyday Label Maker from Amazon.
The label maker can be powered with an adapter cord or batteries.
Since neither the batteries nor the adapter cord is included with the label maker, I ordered the adapter cord from Amazon as well.

This small label maker is ideal for keeping your home and office organized.
The labels are printed on Brother Genuine TZe Label Tape and the cartridge is easy to load into the label maker.

The labels are approximately ½ inch wide which makes them perfect for binder dividers, file folders, planners, large journals and small organization projects around the house.
Further, you can print one or two lines of texts which is a huge bonus.
The label maker comes with a sample cartridge tape which is an off white color.
I was able to create months 1-12 and weeks 1-39 before the tape ran out.

There is a button on the side of the label maker to make clean cuts easy peasy.

The tape is simple to peel and comes in a variety of colors and finishes.

You can choose from 14 different fonts, 11 different font styles, 99 frames and over 600 symbols.

Another bonus is that the label maker’s keyboard is set up QWERTY style just like most laptops and home computer keyboards.

The Brother P-Touch PTD-220 Everyday Label Maker has a built-in memory which means you can save up to 30 frequently used labels.
There are also 25 pre-set label templates to make printing quick and easy.

Staying Organized with Labels…
All in all, this label maker has been easy to use and is saving us so much time.
Especially, for smaller office projects like organizing paperwork for loved ones and keeping our life binders organized.

Additionally, this label maker would also be great for organizing bathroom vanity drawers, kitchen drawers, dressers, decanted items like dry goods and spice jars, refrigerator shelves, leftovers containers, cords and wires, seasonal bins like holiday décor or off-season items like sweaters or bathing suits and packing cubes for vacation.
Truly, the possibilities are endless!

I love how organized you are! I have thought many times about getting a Label Maker, but I wasn’t sure if I would really use it. You gave some really great ideas in this post. Now I’m leaning more toward getting one. I also love your magnetic system on the refrigerator. I am thinking of adding one that lists out the leftovers. Maybe then I will not forget what all is in there.
