We’re sharing a quick and easy assorted nuts snack box today!
Lately, I’ve been looking for simple things to add to care packages.
Especially easy items that can be dropped off at a loved one’s home or taken to the hospital without a lot of extra fuss.
A few weeks ago, I was decanting a variety of nuts so they would be easier to store in our pantry when it dawned on me that my Dad would love a sweet and salty nut version of a DIY candy tackle box I created several years ago for Valentine’s Day.
Surprisingly, these quick and easy assorted nut boxes are wildly simple to put together.
Particularly now that you can buy snackle boxes on Amazon.
Here’s a look at how you can make one too.

- Lightly Salted Almonds
- Smokehouse Almonds (these are my favorite)
- Dark Chocolate Flavored Almond
- Walnuts
- Roasted Salted Pistachio
- Chili Roasted Pistachio
- Roasted Peanuts
- Cocoa dusted sunflower seeds (Fresh Market)
This is the Snackle Box we’re currently using.
But I love that this one has a handle which would make it easier to transport.
Admittedly, what I appreciate most about snack boxes like these is they customized in so many different ways.
Not only is this quick and easy assorted nuts snack container great for care packages, it can also be used for road trips, movie nights, to take to the gym, the beach, the lake or on a hike.

I love this idea! I’ve never seen anything like it before, and it makes so much sense for a variety of occasions. For example, my niece is getting married next month. I’m taking some snacks to the women in the bridal party on the day of the wedding. I’ll also have small sandwiches and the like. This box is cute enough to make an appearance there. Thank you!
That is such a great idea, LeAnne! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen a bride and the bridal party hungry at the end of the night. Sometimes it’s because they’re too nervous to eat but other times it’s because they needed something quick and easy and it wasn’t available. I love this idea! When you shared your idea for the Valentine gifts, I did that for the girls and they loved it. That was as far as my thoughts and ideas went. I love the thought of making these little snack boxes as other gifts. I could even see these being great to take to games for everyone to snack on. Thanks for always giving such great ideas!
