Festive Paper Treat Rockets
We’re sharing how to make festive paper treat rockets for the 4th of July!
If there’s one thing that’s been a staple in our home no matter what the season or celebration, it’s sparklers.
Truly, I cannot remember an occasion without them.
We love them so much that we always have them on hand.

Recently, I was thinking about quick and easy craft ideas for the 4th of July and wanted to make something extra special for our sparklers.
While these paper treat rockets might look time-consuming, they didn’t take long to make.
They’re a fun way to add a cheerful feel to patriotic vignettes, tablescapes, drink stations, and gift baskets!
Here’s a look at how to craft festive paper treat rockets.

Festive Paper Treat Rockets
Supplies:
- Cardboard Tubes
- Red, White, and Blue Scrapbook Paper
- Scissors
- Tape Measure
- Pencil
- Glue or Tape
- Paper Snow Cone Holders
- Paint
- Red, White, and Blue Garland or Craft Picks
- Tissue Paper
- Sparklers or Treats
Steps:
Gather your supplies and decide how many paper treat rockets you want to craft.
We used the cardboard tube from a wrapping paper roll, which gave us 3 rockets.
Consequently, you can also use the cardboard tube from the inside of a paper towel roll as well.

Once your cardboard tubes are ready, cover them with patriotic scrapbook paper or heavy-duty cardstock.
Then secure them in place with glue or tape.

Next, paint your paper snow cone holders.
Allow them to dry completely.

Once they are dry, attach the snow cone holders to your cardboard tube using glue or tape.

Carefully, slip sparklers or treats inside the tube.
Above all, remember to check your area for burn bans or fire warnings.
In addition, consider the ages of your festive paper treat rocket recipients so you can include age-appropriate treats.

After your treats are inside, add tissue paper to keep the treats from sliding around in the cardboard tube.

Next, using caution and care, cut short pieces of patriotic garland or floral picks.
Then use tape or glue to secure the garland pieces of floral picks inside the paper tube.

Here’s a look at the treat rockets with garland,

and with craft picks.

All things considered, these festive paper rockets come together quickly and add a big burst of charm to any 4th of July celebration.

Whether you fill them with sparklers or patriotic-inspired treats, they’re a playful way to share a bit of holiday magic with friends and family.
I hope they add a joyful touch to your celebrations too!
