Favorite Pumpkin Recipes

We’re sharing our favorite pumpkin recipes as we team up with the fabulous ladies of the Pinterest Challenge Blog Hop hosted by the amazing, Cindy of County Road 407.

If you’re coming over from Amber’s blog, Follow The Yellow Brick Home, welcome, we’re excited to have you here.

I can’t wait to try her pumpkin bread, it looks delicious!

Our theme this month is pumpkin recipes which has me all kinds of excited.

Save for pumpkin pie, I love pumpkin-flavored treats.

In fact that first sip of a pumpkin spice latte is one of my favorite things about Fall.

It truly feels like a seasonal rite of passage.

I come from a family of picky eaters though and I know not everyone feels that way.

Especially, about things that are pumpkin flavored.

So, I wanted to share these favorite pumpkin recipes with you in case you have picky eaters in your family too.

Here’s a look at our favorite pumpkin recipes…

Pumpkin Spice Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting

When I first started making pumpkin spice bars with cream cheese frosting I had no idea if my family would like them.

So, I made a few for a seasonal event and was blown away when they were gone at the end of the night.

Over the years they’ve become one of my most requested recipes.

While most people say, it’s the combination of pumpkin and cream cheese, I’m convinced it’s because these pumpkin spice bars taste like fall though.

Salted Caramel Pumpkin Gooey Bars

Salted caramel pumpkin gooey bars are one of the easiest pumpkin recipes to make because the crust is made from a box cake mix.

It’s definitely indulgent, especially when you add a sprinkle of sea salt to the caramel.

But there’s nothing like that sweet and salty mix, you know?

Spice Cake Donuts

Another really easy thing to make is spice cake donuts.

While these donuts aren’t pumpkin flavored, they also taste like fall in the best possible way.

I know grocery stores don’t always carry spice cake mixes so I wanted to put it on your radar before the season is over.

Pumpkin Spice Golden Milk Latte

There are times you just want to curl up with a mug of something cozy and a good book.

And on those days, I grab a pumpkin spice golden milk latte.

They’re relatively easy to make.

But don’t have the extra sugar (save for an optional drizzle of honey) as some of the other recipe’s listed above.

Bonus, the recipe only requires 2 teaspoons of pumpkin puree.

So, there’s still plenty of pumpkin left over to bake something fun.

Pumpkin Spice Latte Sugar Scrub

As we all know, the holidays are incredibly busy, even with the best-laid plans and intentions.

On the days I simply need a spa-like feeling at home, I make a pumpkin spice latte sugar scrub.

It not only smells amazing, but it also makes my skin feel so soft.

    1. They’re always a hit at our parties, LeAnne, so I hope you like them too. Thanks so much for your kind words and sweet prayers. We spent part of last week moving my aunt and uncle back into their house after they had flooding damage from Hurricane Debby so to know that they, the rest of my big farm family, and our beloved Loblolly is in the path of the storm again is heartbreaking. We’re on the Atlantic side and are bracing for more rain and flooding. Gah, I will be so excited when hurricane season is over! Sending you a longer email later today and thank you again for all your prayers. They help so much. Big hugs, CoCo
