From the Front Porch

Happy Friday from the front porch! We hope love has shown up for you when you’ve needed it most this week.

I know a lot of you are in major clean-up mode following all the winter storms and we continue to lift you up.

After celebrating my baby sister’s milestone birthday in the Lowcountry last weekend, we were home long enough to celebrate my nephew’s 6th birthday, work a few days, catch up on laundry, repack, and are now officially back on the road headed to the mountains to check on a loved one.

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve checked the day and date on my phone. This week has been an adventure, that’s for sure!

Just a Heads Up…

Just a heads up, while we try to keep our posting schedule as consistent as possible, our posts will more than likely be a bit off next week as well.

I’m hoping to know more soon but right now it’s hard to say how much care is going to be needed until we get there and can fully assess the situation.

For those of you that have had to navigate an elderly loved one’s care while not physically living in the same town, you know exactly what I mean.

We’re grateful for your understanding and appreciate you so much.

We hope your weekend is peace-filled and relaxing and can’t wait to share more next week!

Until next time, I’ll see you on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.

Many blessings,

CoCo

    1. Thank you, Christine! I think people forget the power of words sometimes because they (mostly) come so easily to us. But they really have the power to impact our lives and hearts in so many different ways. I’m glad you felt encouraged by this week’s quote. It helps me all the time too. Hope you find some inspiration in all the links. I can’t wait for all the spring inspiration! Big hugs for a happy week, CoCo

  4. Those shoes! The gold ones in the first picture – beautiful – info, please?
    Thanks,
    Sheila

    1. Sorry for the late response, Sheila, we’re just getting back into town. The pale pink bow flats were a gift from my mom several years ago. She thinks she may have gotten them on Amazon. I’ve searched for them and couldn’t find an exact match but the SAILING LU Bow-Knot Ballet Flats are close. The only difference is a chiffon bow instead of a satin one. Just a heads up, they’re not super comfortable so I only wear them on special occasions. I love the style though so I’m on the hunt for something similar that doesn’t pinch in the toe box. I’ll keep you posted! Hope your week is a special one, CoCo
